Drew Blythe Barrymore (born February 22nd 1975) is an American actor. She has received numerous awards, including a Screen Actors Guild Award Award and a Golden Globe. There have been five Emmy Award nominations as well as the BAFTA nomination as well as five Emmy Award nominations. She is part of the Barrymore family and is the great-granddaughter of John Barrymore. Barrymore achieved fame in her early years as a child actress, thanks to her part in E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial. She released Little Girl Lost, her autobiography detailing her childhood of drinking and drug abuse. Later, she was in a string of highly successful films during the 1990s including Poison Ivy, Boys on the Side, Mad Love, Batman Forever, Scream and Ever After.
