 Jimmy Donaldson, also known as MrBeast (born May 7, 1998) is an American YouTube personality and businessman. The YouTube personality is known with establishing an YouTube video genre that is focused on extravagant stunts. His main YouTube channel, "MrBeast", is the fifth-most-subscribed on the platform. Donaldson uploaded his videos to YouTube when he was 13 and used the handle "MrBeast6000". The channel began out posting Let's Plays as well as "videos of his estimation of how rich other YouTubers were" content. He went viral in 2017 after his "counting up to 100,000" video racked up millions of views in just a few days, and he has become increasingly popular ever since, with most of his videos receiving thousands of views.Over time his style of content diversified to include challenge and donation videos that award millions of dollars, videos involving tough tasks or challenges to survive as well as original vlogs. Donaldson employed his childhood pals to help run the brand after it started to grow. MrBeast is Donaldson's primary YouTube channel. The channel surpassed 100 million users on July 28, 2022.
